There’s a small utility named NK2View by the excellent Nirsoft that can help with this problem. You’ll be warned that you should probably close Outlook first. Just go to the File \ Add Items From Address Book item on the menu. choose the address book you want, and then add the selected items by using the To button. Import Auto-Complete Entries into Outlook as ContactsOpen Outlook and go to File \ Import and Export on the menu....

After writing the article last week about disabling SuperFetch, my good friendDaniel Spiewakcommented that SuperFetch “loads the wrong thing more often than not”, which reminded me of a registry tweak… you could tell Windows to only cache the boot processes instead of everything. I’ve not personally verified that this tweak really changes anything with regards to performance, so just likedisabling SuperFetchyou’ll have to check it out for yourself. Open up the Find and Replace dialog from the menus, or just use the Ctrl+H keyboard shortcut. you’re free to even use multiple search criteria here. The “Format” dropdown will give you access to select specific formatting options, like fonts or styles. Just confirm that you first click in the “Find what” box before you select an option....
Have you ever wondered why Windows XP had such terribly ugly wallpapers to choose from? If the key does not exist, then you might create a new string value with the same name. Double-click to change the value, and then paste in the full path to your My Pictures folder. (Note that you could specify any path here if you wanted to.)
