AMD has switched from releasing new CPUs and architectures once per year to once every two years.

AMD will need to release its latest, greatest processor eventually, though.

AMD recently unveiled its 2023 financial results and discussed future plans in an investor call.

The company confirmed the release of Epyc CPUs featuring the Zen 5 architecture later this year.

Zen 5 is expected to maintain overall architecture, clock speeds, and core counts.
