Updating your system helps patch many bugs, which can resolve your Discord problem.
When you face issues in the app, its possible these temporary files called the cache have become corrupted.
Fixing such files requires clearing your app cache.
you’re able to clear Discords current cache files to possibly fix your issue.
When youve done that,give Discord a restartand see if your issue occurs.
If you arent sure exactly what option is causing the problem, reset your voice parameters to the defaults.
This will erase your custom options and bring back the default app options.
In the left sidebar, select “Voice & Video.”
On the right pane, at the bottom, choose “Reset Voice options.”
In the prompt that opens, select “Okay” to reset the configs.
Then, restart Discord and see if your issue is resolved.
For such core-level issues, youll have to remove and reinstall the app to fix your problem.
That will remove the apps current files and give you working new app files.
Note that you wont lose your servers, chats, and other data when you remove Discord.
The app will sync these items for you when you log back into your account.
Toremove Discord from your Windows 11 PC, head into configs > Apps > Installed Apps.
Todelete Discord on Windows 10, navigate to configs > Apps.
Select “Discord,” click “Uninstall,” and choose “Uninstall.”
