Thats true for the S1 Pro as well.
I noticed the robot tended to move faster in uncluttered areas.

I assume this is because its vision sees objects better than other robots.
Underneath the unit is a long, single roller brush, instead of two oval pads.
As the roller brush turns, it gets cleaned by fresh water inside the robot.

Maybe that’s true and a benefit, but that alone wouldn’t make me spend money on it.
The water reservoirs were easy to remove and clean out of refill.

The biggest surprise was that the X10 Omni was no slouch compared to the fancier S1 Pro.
The X10 Omni cleaned adequately, getting most crumbs and being able to maneuver to most areas.

It wasnt as quick or flexible as the S1 Pro, but it performed better than I expected.
I found the X10 Omnis base station one of the most disappointing parts of its whole experience.
The gray plastic looked cheap and felt cheap.

The water containers never leaked, but they didnt seem like the sturdiest reservoirs Ive ever tested.
I wouldnt love to leave the station anywhere it could be seen by guests.
There’s nothing like that on the X10 Omni.
Should You Buy the Eufy S1 Pro?
A complex floor plan will present a problem to nearly all autonomous vacuums.
Still, Ive been a big fan of theEufy Omni S1 Proand how it goes about its cleaning business.
I liked its narrow and tall base station more than I expected to.
I thought the robots sleek shape helped it nimbly navigate my house.
But most importantly, both my wife and I were satisfied with the robots vacuuming and mopping performance.
Not something that can be said of every robot that I’ve tested this year.
