The electric truck has aradical designand features premium specs, bullet-proof glass (kinda), and endless potential.
It’s now 2023, and we still can’t buy one.
So, where does that leave the 1.3 million people who pre-ordered and us?
More importantly, a delivery and launch event ishappening in Q3.
However, on January 26th, 2021, Tesla officially delayed the Cybertruck until 2023.
We’ve even seen a Cybertruck bodyon an assembly linewhile Teslaworks on toolingfor manufacturing the vehicle.
That said, I wouldn’t expect deliveries until 2024.
At first, this mentioned 2022, now, it doesn’t have a date listed at all.
Who knows when it’ll actually arrive.
That said, volume production won’t be until 2024.
It’ll be a limited rollout if Tesla can stick to the current timeline.
Most people still won’t get their order until sometime in 2024.
How Much Is the Tesla Cybertruck?
So we should expect a similar increase to the starting price of the Cybertruck.
Unfortunately, adding those features could raise the Tesla Cybertruck price between now and whenever it arrives.
Reserve and pre-order your very own Cybertruck today for only $100.
For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
It wouldn’t shock me if the base model has a starting price of $55,000 or more.
Either way, here are the initial numbers and specs from Tesla.
We can at least hope it’ll get something between 300 miles and 500 miles of range.
Cybertruck May Come in Two Sizes
As we all know, the Tesla Cybertruck is huge.
That’s a problem for potential buyers, as it’ll struggle to fit in garages.
We’ve recently seenseveral reportsthat Tesla will offer two different sizes of the Cybertruck.
An idea that even Elon Musk stronglyhinted at back in 2020 on Twitter.
Especially considering the well-received small Ford Maverick truck.
Best Tesla Cybertruck Features
Where do we even begin?
The best features will likely be performance, range, and things like4-wheel steering.
However, that’s not all we’re hearing it’ll offer.
Buyers will be able to wrap it with whatever color, design, or texture they want later.
So that’s a feature if you ask us.
The Cybertruck has a fully transparent roof made from Armor Glass.
However, Tesla has confirmed the truck will have digital mirrors thanks to an array of cameras.
Oh, and there aren’t any door handles, either.
We now know that the Cybertruck willdetect when you are approachingand automatically pop launch the door for you.
What shouldn’t surprise anyone is where the Cybertruck stands with self-driving features.
Every Cybertruck model will get “autopilot” (which shouldn’t be confused with level 5 self-driving).
Just know that it’s a Cybertruck, and it can probably do just about anything.
Then, talk about where the Cybertruck is being built and set some expectations for its arrival.
Being a wicked cool truck, people will want to do pickup truck things with it.
Plus, the company plans to release the Cyberquad ATV around the same time as the Cybertruck.
Cybertruck production will eventually take place at Tesla’s newest Gigafactory in Texas.
But, for now, we’re all stuck impatiently awaiting its arrival.
