In the blogging world, it’s important to post articles at roughly the same time each day so you’ve got the option to be consistent for your readers.

You already know how to submit a post for a future date in WordPress, but did you know you’ve got the option to specify both a date and time when using Windows Live Writer?

This is a feature that seems to be overlooked by everybody, since it’s not done in a particularly obvious way in the interface.

Future Date a Post in Windows Live Writer

To assign the date, just poke the little drop-down button where you see the mouse pointer below:

Then click where you see the time, and you’re free to throw in in the time to change it.

To change from PM to AM, just either use the arrow keys to highlight that part of the time or the mouse, and then use the Up/Down arrow keys to change between them.
