Archiving emailshelps you remove the non-important messages from your inbox.

We’ll show you how to do that.

Note that archiving an email doesn’tdelete the email.

Select emails in Outlook for desktop.

Your email gets moved to a dedicated archive folder.

In Outlook’s inbox, find and choose the emails to archive.

Outlook will immediately move your selected emails to the “Archive” folder, and you’re done.

Choose “Archive” at the top.

The right pane will display all your archived emails.

Sign in to your account on the site if you haven’t already.

On Outlook’s main screen, opt for emails you want to archive.

Select “Archive” to view archived emails.

To choose multiple emails, hit the round icon beside each email.

After choosing the emails, from Outlook’s menu bar at the top, select “Archive.”

Your selected emails will be archived.

Select Move > Inbox in the menu.

In the app, tap and hold on the email you want to archive.

To add multiple emails to your selection, tap them on the list.

Choose emails in Outlook for the web.

Your chosen emails are now archived.

Unarchiving emails is also easy.

Select your inbox or another folder to move your archived emails.

Click “Archive” at the top.

And you’re all set.

Select “Undo."

Open the “Archive” folder on the left.

Select Move To > Inbox.

Choose “Undo."

Tap the “Archive” folder.

Select “Move to Folder” in the menu.

Choose the destination folder.
