Two of these features include blocking and restricting other accounts.
There are some key differences between the two.
If you don’t want to permanently remove the account, you may consider restricting it.
How to Block an Instagram User on Mobile
you could block an Instagram user using theiPhoneorAndroidmobile app.
Launch the app and go to the profile of the account you would like to block.
Tap the three-dot menu in the corner of your screen.
Next, tap “Block” in the menu that appears.
Additionally, you’ve got the option to choose to block the single account.

Then, tap the blue “Block” button.
you might also report the account if the user broke Instagram’scommunity guidelines.
In that case, tap “Block and Report” to go through the reporting process.
The account is now blocked.
Later, you canunblock themagain if you choose to.
There are also ways offinding out if someone has blocked you on Instagramorwho just unfollowed you.
You won’t have the option to block the user’s other accounts.
Then, grab the three-dot menu.
Next, click “Block” from the menu that appears.
You’ll then need to confirm that you want to block the account.
Click “Block” again to do so.
The account is now blocked.
You should now be able to browse Instagram without worrying about that user.
You’ll need to go through the process of blocking the user on each site.
