Many people find this annoying and would like to suspend the countdown.
However, it is there for good security reasons.
you could turn off the countdown, but we don’t recommend doing it.
Turning off the countdown can increase your risk of installing malicious software without realizing it.
NOTE: You canre-turn on the warning messageagain after disabling it.

Enter the following text into the Search box.
You don’t need to press Enter.
The results display as you throw in, or when you paste text into the Search box.
security.dialog_enable_delay
The matching preference displays in the list.
Double-go for the preference to change it.
The number for this preference is entered in milliseconds and the default value is 2000, or 2 seconds.
Enter a new value in milliseconds in the edit box and click OK. We entered 10000 and Firefox put a countdown of 20 seconds on the Install button.
If you want to shut down the countdown, enter 0 (zero) in the edit box.
Again, we don’t recommend doing this.
Once changed, the preference displays in bold and the new time shows in the Value column.
To go back to the default value, double-hit the preference again and change the value to 2000.
