Blinking text on a webpage can be extremely annoying.
Here we take a look at how to block the annoyance in Firefox.
Open up Firefox and enter about:config into the address bar then hit enter.
If you get the void warranty message just hit Ill be careful, I promise!
and uncheck the box next to Show this warning next time if you dont want to see it again.
Now in the Filter box bang out in or just copy and paste the text below.
You will notice the value is set to true.
Double press it to toggle the value to false.

Double press it to toggle the value to false.
Test it Out
Now just refresh this page and the following text should no longer be blinking.
I did this on Firefox 3.5.3 but should work in older versions of Firefox as well.
