In the Taskbar window, turn off the toggle next to “Copilot (preview).”
Once you’ve disabled the toggle, Windows Copilot will be removed from the Taskbar.
If it’s still there,kickstart your computerto see the changes.
Keep in mind, though, that Copilot will still be running in the background.
Use one of the following methods if you want to disable it completely.
Right-clickthe “Turn off Windows Copilot” policy in the right pane and choose “Edit.”
In the policy edit window, choose “Enabled.”
Then, click “Apply” and “OK.”
Now, reboot your Windows 11 PC.

Therefore, verify toback up the registryandcreate a restore pointbefore proceeding with the below steps.
Right-poke the “Windows” key, hover over “New,” and select “Key.”
Name the new key “WindowsCopilot.”
Name the new value “TurnOffWindowsCopilot.”
Then, click “OK” to save the changes.
You’re now the proud owner of a Copilot-free Windows 11 desktop.
