The page will scroll down to the download section.

Once there, hit the “Download Installer” button.

Firefox will then download the EmuDeck installer and save it inyour “Downloads” folder.

To install EmuDeck, you have to copy the installer to your desktop.

Next, right-poke the “EmuDeck.desktop” file by pressing the left trigger on your Steam Deck.

Next, hit the “Cut” option.

Go to EmuDeck website in Firefox, and click on the Download button located on the upper right site of the EmuDeck homepage

Now, double-hit the “Install EmuDeck” icon on your desktop and choose “Continue” when prompted.

Wait for the installer to download some files, after which you’ll be greeted with the installation menu.

The first option laid before you is to select where you want EmuDeck to create your ROM directory.

We recommend gettinga microSD cardto store your ROMs on.

Otherwise, they’re going take up precious space on your internal drive.

Plus, if you store ROMs on multiple cards, you could hot-swap them to move seamlessly between games.

Copy the EmuDeck installer by opening the Dolphin File Manager, access the Downloads folder, right click the EmuDeck installer and then click on Cut

After selecting your drive, it’s time to choose your gadget; pick the Steam Deck.

Next, pick the emulators you want EmuDeck to install.

The following window lets you choose which emulators you want EmuDeck to optimize and auto-configure.

Paste EmuDeck installer on your desktop by right clicking on it and then clicking on the Paste One File button

Select “Dolphin” from the list.

Manually setting up controls alone is enough to make you pull your hair out in frustration.

Once there, tap the “Quick configs button.”

Click on the Continue button when prompted

After the installation completes, as shown below, do not launch Steam ROM Manager.

Instead, initiate the Dolphin file manager and locate your GameCube ROMs folder.

Once there, you should see a folder named “Emulation.”

Once EmuDeck installer opens, click the Custom Mode button and then press the Continue button

The next window should show you all of the Steam Deck emulation-related folders EmuDeck created during the setup process.

pop launch the “roms” folder.

Once in the ROMs folder, look for a folder named “gamecube.”

Pick your drive to store the EmuDeck ROM directory

That’s the folder you want to copy your games in.

If you own the game, however, with the right hardware, you cancreate your own ISO files.

Then, tap the “Steam ROM Manager” button.

Select Steam Deck as your device during the EmuDeck installation process

Once you open Steam ROM Manager, look at the right side of the app.

There you’ll find a parser list that includes various consoles with a toggle button next to each console.

Toggle the switch on for each console you want to see in your Steam Deck’s Game Mode.

This will show each game for that console as a standalone game in Steam.

You won’t find them in your Steam library or in Steam Deck’s Game Mode.

The following screen will have the “Generate App List” button shown on the lower left side.

Let EmuDeck optimize and configure Dolphin by picking the emulator from the list and then pressing the continue button

you should probably wait for Steam ROM Manager to add your GameCube games to Steam.

Once you see the “Done Adding/Removing Entries” notification, you might exit Steam ROM Manager.

If the games are there, that’s it!

Now you could emulate GameCube games on your Steam Deck!

Dolphin should be there.

Now it’s possible for you to open it and tweak its configs to your liking.

Access Quick settings by pressing the Tools & Stuff button once you open EmuDeck

To access controller parameters, press the Steam button while inside a game.

Then, press the “Controller options” tab with the “A” button.

Next, press the “Controller options” button.

The Tools & Stuff menu includes a button called "Quick Settings." Access it to configure optional settings

Once inside the controller options menu, opt for top tab and press the “A” button.

To access your EmuDeck emulation folder open Dolphin File Manager, click on the primary button located on the removable devices tab and then click the Emulation folder

Click the roms folder in the following window

Once you enter the roms folder, look for the gamecube folder. You can copy your GameCube games in this folder

Launch Steam Rom Manager from the Adding Games Window by clicking on the Steam Rom Manager button

Access Steam Rom Manager by clicking on the Tools & Stuff button in EmuDeck

Once you’re inside Tools & Stuff menu, click on the Steam ROM Manager button

Allow Steam ROM Manger to close steam by clicking the Yes button

Once inside Steam ROM Manager enable to Nintendo GameCube parser toggle to have your GameCube games show in Steam Deck’s game mode as separate titles

Click the Preview button to continue with Steam ROM Manager setup

Click the Generate App List button for Steam ROM Manager to show all emulated games you have on your Steam Deck

Once you’re satisfied with game artworks click the Save Apps to Steam Button on the lower left side of the window

Close Steam ROM Manager after you see the Done Adding/Removing Entries notification

Check whether Steam ROM Manager added your games by visiting your Steam library on your Steam Deck and looking for a collection called "GameCube"

To access Dolphin Emulator click on the Application launcher button and then click on the Games tab

Access the in-game controller menu by pressing the Steam button and then pressing the controller settings tab. Once there, press the controller settings button

To browse custom controller layouts, select the top tab and press the A button

Look at the community layouts tab where you can pick unique layouts for your GameCube games
