Once downloaded, extract the file and run CyberpunkVR_Setup.exe.
The mod will then ask you to locate the Cyberpunk 2077 game folder.
Continue though the prompts.
The mod will plant the free version of VorpX for Cyberpunk 2077 on your PC.
At the end of the installation enable “Start Cyberpunk VR Config” and select finish.
Connect your VR headset to your PC.
Launch the game and enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty in VR for free.
At the time of writing this article, the mod only works with version 1.63 of the game.
Ross has promised to fix the mod, but it might take a while.
Installing the R.E.A.L VR mod is relatively simple.
If you’re using Steam, open your Steam library.
Right-choose Cyberpunk 2077 and select Properties.
Go to BETAS and select “1_63_legacy_patch”.
The game will automatically update and revert to version 1.63.
If you’re using GOG, then go to the Installed section.
Select Cyberpunk 2077 and go to Manage Installation > Configure.
Change Beta Channels to “1_63_legacy_patch” and turn off the auto-updates option.
After choosing your preferred version, select OK. Move the contents of the file to the same folder as Cyberpunk2077.exe.
Find and initiate the RealConfig.bat file and let it set up the VR mod.
Connect your PC to a VR headsetand launch the game.
Thanks to the R.E.A.L VR mod, Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch in VR mode.
