Why Use Quote Formatting on Reddit?
When you quote a piece of text, Reddit displays that text in aformatdifferent from your typed text.
If youre ready to do that, launch a web online window on your rig and openReddit.com.

On the site, sign in toyour account.
After signing in,enter the postwhere you want to quote text.
From the post, find and copy the text that you want to quote.
Then, put your cursor where you key in your reply and paste your copied text.
Press Enter to start a new line and throw in your response to your quoted text.
Reddit will immediately apply the quote formatting to your selected text.
The text that you havent highlighted remains in its original formatting.
When youre ready, publish your response by clicking “Comment” or “Reply.”
To do that, launch Reddit on your phone andaccess the post where you want to quote text.
Here, find andcopy the textthat you want to quote.
Reddit will quote your text.
Reddit wont apply the quote formatting to this text.
Then, when youre done, publish your response by tapping “Post.”
And thats how you make a piece of text stand out in your Reddit responses.
