We’ll show you how to turn off Google Assistant.

First, open theGoogle appand tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.

Next, select “parameters” from the menu.

Select “Settings."

Now go to the “Google Assistant” section.

Scroll down and tap “General” from the long list of options.

Toggle off “Google Assistant” at the top of the screen.

Select “Google Assistant."

Tap “Turn Off” from the confirmation pop-up to finalize your decision.

Google Assistant is now off.

That’s all there is to it!

Select “General."

you’ve got the option to deactivate the commands without disabling Assistant altogether.

Now select “controls” from the pop-up menu.

Next, go to the “Google Assistant” section.

Toggle off “Google Assistant."

This only applies to Android phones.

First, open theGoogle appon your Android machine and tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.

Next, tap “controls” from the pop-up menu.

Tap “Turn Off."

Navigate to the “Google Assistant” section.

Select “Assistant Voice and Sounds” from the list.

In the “Speech Output” section, tap “Phone.”

Select “Hey Google and Voice Match."

Now select “None” from the list of options.

Enjoy the peace and quiet.

It’s typically located on the back of the rig, as shown below.

Turn off “Hey Google."

When the switch background shows orange, that means the microphone is muted.

The equipment will not be able to hear you, even for “Hey Google” voice commands.

You may also want toadjust the sensitivity for hearing the “Hey Google” commandorturn off repeat command suggestions.

Select “Assistant Voice and Sounds."

No one has to use Google Assistant.

Tap “Phone."

Select the “None” option.
