Here are my top tips for using the tabs for productivity.

The new tab will open to the right of all existing tabs.

In this example, the Desktop folder will open in the new tab.

It’s just as easy to close a tab.

To close all tabs at the same time, simply wrap up the File Explorer window.

You’ll see this in action next time you open a new File Explorer window or tab.

Now you’re free to release your mouse.

As mentioned earlier, the Home folder is the default File Explorer landing window.
