PNY is rounding out its portfolio with a ruggedized SSD.
Pricing starts at just $100 for the 1TB model.
It also has a dust cover over its USB-C port.

Speed-wise, the PNY RP60 looks to be a winner.
It uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 x2 interface and offers read speeds of 2,000 MBps.
However, if you don’tneedhigh-speed file transfer, the RP60 might be overkill.
The SSD’s pricing is also attractive.
Though I should note that the ultra-portablePNY EliteX-Prois also just $100.
PNY will begin selling the RP60 in April 2024.
The company has yet to open pre-orders and hasn’t listed the product on its web store.
