Shell Script to Upload a File to the Same Subdirectory on a Remote Server

On my development machine it’s /var/www, and on my server is something more like /var/www/howtogeek/docs/.

I’m sure there’s some other way around this, but I’m unaware of it.

Next, I set up automated ssh logins.

This script should work on anything with a *nix shell and the scp utility.
